Privacy Policy
This privacy policy discloses the data privacy and security practices for the OSM-US Census. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected through the survey located at osmlab.github.io/census/.
Information Collection and Use
We only collected the information that you have explicitly provided through the survey, we do not collect any extra information such as IP addresses or browser information. The geographic data we collect is only identifiable to the Zoom-Level 12 tile (roughly the area of a medium-sized city).
OpenStreetMap US will use this information to conduct research on the makeup and mapping behaviors of the community. This will be done in partnership with academic and community research partners.
Any and all findings released using data from this survey will be anonymized and/or presented in the aggregate.
Security
The survey results that you provide are stored on a secure Amazon server.
